With an itch for adventure and global purpose, Dan lived more than a decade overseas, working primarily with The Navigators and various humanitarian-focused organizations.

Now based in his native Bay Area, he continues to travel extensively on assignments, from earthquake ravaged villages in Pakistan, to urban slums in Kenya.

In California, his passion is squarely focused on providing exceptional wedding photography to his clients. Part of this growing business helps fund his poverty documentation projects, which seek provide a voice for the poor and to expose systemic practices that oppress the most vulnerable of this world.

Dan recently married Hazel, a friend who finally captured his full attention during a brief stopover in Tokyo in 2008.
